The total positives for intestinal helminths were 408 (58.7%); Ascaris lumbricoides 39.4%, Trichuris trichiura 33. 8%, hookworm 0.6%, Trichostrongylus orientalis O. 9%, Enterobius vermicularis 0.2%, Clonorchis sinensis 0.4% and Taenia species 0.9%.

3. The intestinal helminths and protozoa were more prevalent in female than in male. Age group of 40^¢¥49 years showed the highest infection rate whereas the group of less than 10 years revealed lower rate.
