Abstract

|
|
Anthelmintic activity of Flubendazole, the paraflucr analogue of mebendazole, was given to Clonorchis sinensis infected rabbits and rats, and Paragonimus westermani infected cats.
1. Prophylactic activity was recognized to the immature stages of Clonorchis sinensis in rabbits.
2. Regimens of 2.5mg/kg~40.0mg/kg bcdy weight with single oral administration to rabbit resulted complete elimination of Clonorchis sinensis in 72 hours.
3. No anthelmintic activity was observed to Clonorchis sinensis in rats.
4. No anthelmintic result was observed to Paragonimus westermani in cats.
