Experimental Infection of Clonorchis sinesnsis in Nude Mouse

Abstract
|
|
|
Mctacercariae of Clonorchis sineiisis ?crc given to nude mouse BALB/C-A/JCL-nu, and the control mouse, BALB/C.
1. The recovery rates of the adult worm were 41.696 in nude mouse and 31.6% in control mouse.
2. In nude mice, 95.2% of the collected worms was found in common bile duct. Only 4.800 was found in the biliary ducts of the parenchymatous portion, and 70% of them was still immature state. In control mice, 97.6% of the total collected was found in deeper portion of the biliary ducts as immuture state, and no worm was found in common bile duct.
3. Pathological changes such as dilatation of bile ducts, proliferative hypertrophic epithelial cells or concentric fibrosis of ducts were more severe in nude mouse than in the control.
