Abstract
To investigate the antitumor effect of linoleic acid, sarcoma 180 ascite tumor cells were implanted into the left groin of ICR strain of mice. Tumor bearing mice were treated with linoleic acid with intraperitoneal injection. Polyclonal
antibodies
against sarcoma 180 were prepared for the localization of turmorigenic proteins detected by the use of protein A-glod complex as cytochemical marker. The antitumor effect of the linoleic acid was appeared not to be ascribed to reduction in the
necrotizing steps in tumor cells but to be associated with the reduced synthesis of tumorigenic proteins in the tumor cells of anaerobic environment or with the digested tumorigenic proteins in tumor cells by the lysosome-like granules having
autophagocytosis.
