Abstract
|
|
|
In order to evaluate the indoor air temperature, humidity and concentration of dust in the main building of Chonnam University Hospital, a survey on operation of air conditioning system and measurement of temperature, humidity and suspending dust of the 2nd floor were performed.
The results were as follows;
1. The regulation ranges of temperature were within the recommended range, those of humidity(68.3~89.1%) tended higher than recommended one, and the mean concentration of dust in both seasons (0.28 mg/ m3 in summer, 0.23mg/ m3in autumn) were higher than allowable values.
2. The mean concentrations of dust in the western half of the floor(0.39mg / m3 in both seasons) were higher than that in eastern half(0.32mg/ m3in summer, 0.17mg/m3 in autumn) and it seems to be related with the fact the air inlets supplying fresh air to the western half of the floor were located just beside the main road with heavy traffic.
