Emphysematous gastritis is a rare and fatal disease which is characterized by air in gastric wall due to invasion by gas-forming microor-ganisms, and is associated systemic toxicity. In most cases of emphysematous gastritis, the cause is resulted from gastric necrosis after indigestion of corrosive agent. But a case of post-hemostasis for stomach ulcer with hemorrhage is not yet reported. Diagnosis is based on clinical presentation of acute abdomen and radiological examination, mainly abdominal computed tomography (CT). Only prompt diagnosis and treatment can avoid mortality.
