Pseudoaneurysm after Anterior Skull Base Surgery: Case Report

Abstract

|
A rare case of cavernous carotid artery pseudoaneurysm after craniofacial resection of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is presented. A 18 year old man underwent craniofacial resection of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma. After operation wound infection was developed on the right frontal scalp. After wound infection, pseudoaneurysm was developed in cavernous ICA. Epstaxis, headache occurred due to pseudoaneurysm. Pseudoaneurysm was treated with balloon occulsion.
