Molecular Cloning of ras-related cDNA from rice

Abstract

|
A ras gene isolated from Arabidopsis thaliana was used to search for the ras-related gene family in rice plants. We isolated eDNA clones that exibit sequence homology to the ras gene family of plants. Partial nucleotide sequence of the eDNA suggests that the gene is a new member of the ras superfamily.
