Abstract

|
A new ardimerin (1) was isolated from the herb of Ardisia japonica. Its structure was determined by the elucidation of spectroscopic data and chemical transformation. Compound (1) showed potent radical scavenging effect on DPPH radical (IC_50, 0.32??M).
