Abstract

|
Pins and needle sensation, burning sensation and numbness are the leading symptoms which are suggestive of neuropathic condition. The common causes of the tingling of the hand are entrapment neuropathies such as carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy at the elbow, thoracic outlet syndrome and cervical radiculopathy as well as polyneuropathy. This article is focused on ulnar neuropathy at the elbow, thoracic outlet syndrome and other conditions mimicking neuropathic conditions.
