Abstract

For the patient with bradycardia-tachycardia syndrome, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation is the mainstay of the syndrome. Usually bradycardia-tachycardia syndrome was managed by cardiac pacemaker, but selective treatment for atrial fibrillation could abolish the event of bradycardia. Antiarrhythmic drugs for atrial fibrillation suppression might aggravate the bradycardia. So catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation could be helpful for bradycardia-tachycardia syndrome. We report the case of bradycardia-tachycardia syndrome which was managed by catheter ablation and no need for pacemaker.
