Abstract

|
The term early repolarization (ER) is defined electrocardiographically. Although ER has been considered benign, this concept has changed since numerous studies established an association between ER and an increased risk of death or idiopathic ventricular fibrillation. This review seeks to provide a brief summary of the current evidence surrounding the diagnosis and treatment of early repolarization syndrome.
