miRNA profile of neuroprotection mechanism of echinomycin in Parkinson¡¯s disease

Abstract

|
Echinomycin was known as the inhibitor of Hif1a. Discovery of echinomycin make expect for anti-breast cancer drug, but it has only useful in a limited dose in tumor because toxicity was appeared even in normal cells. In here, we developed echinomycin for Parkinson¡¯s disease drug. For evidence, we performed the miRNA array using affymetrix miRNA array, and through the miRNA profiling we predicted the effects of echinomycin in Parkinson¡¯s disease and finally, predicted phenomenon was verified by experiments such as viability assay and signaling checkup. In conclusion, Notch signaling pathway was decelerated and b-catenin stabilization was increased.
