Abstract
Rasmussen encephalitis (RE) is a chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by progressive neurologic deficits and intractable focal seizures. We report a case of a 37-year-old man presented with progressive cognitive dysfunction of the right hemisphere. This patient had shown typical clinical and radiological progression of RE for five years, which are demonstrated by the neuropsychological results and serial brain MR- and SPECT images.
