|
The effects of exposure to air pollution over a long period of time on the health including the respiratory system are well known in various reports. However, these influences are mainly reported in epidemiologic studies, and the precise mechanism is unknown. In this review, we would like to summarize the effects of exposure to long-term air pollution on the respiratory system.
