Effect of Hairdresser's Depression and Job stress on Hairdresser¡¯s Presenteeism

Abstract

|
Purpose: This study investigates the effects of depression and job stress on the presenteeism of hairdressers providing hair care in S-si and K-do.
Methods: Data analysis was performed using the SPSS/Win 22.0 software. To confirm the factors that influence each subject¡¯s presenteeism, multiple regression analysis was used.
Results: Factors affecting presenteeism were depression (t=-3.64, p<0.000), job stress (t=-2.80, p=0.005), and education level (t=2.39, p=0.018), while those influencing perceived productivity were depression (t=-1.83, p=0.006) and education level (t=3.56, p<0.000).
Conclusion: It is necessary to emphasize the necessity of various management measures to better understand presenteeism according to the health issues of beauticians and reduce production loss caused by presenteeism.
