The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of psychodrama for family adaptation based on the concept of family resilience for disabled families. For that purpose, the study administered a program to six family members registered at the Welfare Center for the Disabled of K City. The findings show that a psychodrama improved the family resilience of disabled families with statistical significance. The subjects particularly showed huge changes in their role stability and utilization of family resources through experiences with surplus reality, acting-out, and role training with a statistically significant increase in family adaptation as well. Based on these findings, the study made proposals for a follow-up study to include the development of psychodrama programs targeting disabled families, family psychodrama programs including the people directly involved, and integrated programs to address their potential emotional and life changes after a program.
