|
Detection of thyroid disease has become more common with widespread use of ultrasound (US). US is the main diagnostic tool for detection and differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules. US can also provide guidance for fine needle aspiration biopsy. This review is based on a comprehensive analysis of the current literature and the results of multicenter studies.
