Abstract
|
|
|
|
Pseudoaneurysm related to the arterial access site during interventional procedures is a common complication. The increase in the incidence of peripheral pseudoaneurysms has been parallel to the recent increase in catheterization procedures. Duplex ultrasound is the diagnostic method of choice and various methods under ultrasound guidance are currently available for treatment of pseudoaneurysms, including compression, thrombin injection, and para-aneurysmal saline injection.
