Abstract

Post-thyroidectomy neck ultrasound has become the modality of choice for detection of loco-regional recurrence of differentiated thyroid cancer, and it has been well documented in many journal articles and international guidelines. Neck ultrasound for surveillance is a highly sensitive and noninvasive tool but operator-dependent.
