Generally, we do operation to maintain life support, body balance, diagnostic purpose, healing. In order to achieve this goals, professional surgical nursing should be carried out. To develop the surgical skills of operating nurses and to understand the actual relationship between surgical procedures and treatments, the Korean association of operating room nurses has published 23 “Surgical Nursing” journals since 1993. We analyzed the topic of the article in the journal. The “surgical nursing” journal continues to serve as the basis of the knowledge sharing of operating nurse and the advancement of surgical nursing care.
