Abstract

|
Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) has been commonly used to heal of complex wounds such as diabetes mellitus foot or pressure ulcers by facilitate tissue granulation and hasten the healing process. Recently, the application of NPWT is also expanding in the area of surgical wounds. The object of this report is to review the results of randomized controlled trials on NPWT.
