Research Study on the Status of Oral Care of Visitors to a Dental Hygiene Laboratory

Abstract

|
This study was performed to obtain basic data to improve oral health of visitors to a datal hygiene laboratory for periodontal care and provide better periodontal disease treatment. A survey was conducted among 200 visitors who visited a datal hygiene laboratory at G university in the Gangwon region for preventive dentistry scaling from August 29 to October 31, 2016. The study results are as follows: 1) It was found that people who have received a tooth brushing education show a longer average tooth brushing time than people who have not. 2) It was found that people who have received a tooth brushing education use supplementary oral hygiene products more than people who have not. 3) It was found that women experience anxiety or fear more than men. 4) It was found that women have received a tooth brushing education more than men. 5) It was found that women use supplementary oral hygiene products more than men.
