Abstract
Transurethral resection of bladder tumor is the most effective urologic procedure for bladder cancer surgery, but there are complications such as hemorrhage, postoperative pain, postoperative urinary retention, infection, bladder perforation and transurethral resection of bladder tumor syndrome (TURBTS). Although bladder perforation rarely occurs, when it is accompanied by vascular damage, a large amount of bleeding can occur, causing serious complications such as
decreased vital signs, decreased blood volume, acute renal failure, and death. In this case, bladder perforation occurred with injury to the right external iliac vein during transurethral resection of bladder tumor, and the patient decreased vital signs during surgery.
