Abstract
Purpose: To evaluate normative values of foveal sensitivity using Compass Microperimetry (CenterVue, Padova, Italy) and related factors.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed data from 40 healthy eyes of 20 patients who underwent microperimetry of the central 10¡Æ of retina with Compass Microperimetry. Statistical analysis evaluated the correlation of foveal sensitivity with mean deviation, axial length, foveal avascular zone, foveal pit diameter and foveal pit depth.

Results: Mean foveal sensitivity using Compass Microperimetry was 34.7 ¡¾ 2.23 dB. Foveal sensitivity was positively correlated with mean deviation (p < 0.05), negatively correlated with axial length (p < 0.05), and showed no significant correlations with foveal avascular zone, foveal pit diameter, or foveal pit depth.

Conclusions: Mean foveal sensitivity on Compass Microperimetry is 34.7 ¡¾ 2.23 dB, and it is positively correlated with mean deviation and negatively correlated with axial length.
