Abstract
Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is associated with the aging population, and almost half of women who is aged more than 50 years effected in various ways. The exact incidence of vault prolapse is not known. Vaginal eversion occurs in approximately 0.5% of patients who had vaginal or abdominal hysterectomy. America¡¯s aged population is growing and increasing the number of women who is looking for treatment. Futhermore, women generally live longer than men resulting increase in number of demands of treatment of the disease. The needs of treatment is explosively growing, but experienced physician who can perform appropriate surgery is limited in number. Therefore, quick and ease surgery kit is needed. Reconstructive pelvic surgery has changed rapidly in the past decade. The need for better and easier procedures has become more apparent, hence the rapid development of prolapse kits (synthetic grafts), represent a minimally invasive and tension-free fashion. These modern urogynecological devices used the earliest use of synthetic grafts in humans, which were for vascular applications. Increased many women¡¯s average life than in the past as female, and for maintaining a sexual ability after menopause and big interest is appeared. Pelvic reconstruction is aiming for molding and correcting to normal anatomy, bladder-maintenance and quality for smooth sexual integrity is important.
