Abstract
|
|
|
In order to investigate into the antihepatotoxic or curative effect of the Ryongdamsakan-Tang was studied.
The results obtained as follows:
1. The GOT concentration in the serum of the CC14-poisoned was clearly less than in the control rats. It was observed significant.
2. A similar result was showed in the case of S-GPT activity.
3. The total cholesterol concentration in the serum of the animals treated with the above same procedure was remakedly less than in the control animals. The difference in average values was statistically significant.
4. The enzymatic activity of S-LDH reached to high level in control group but it was dropped significantly in the empirical animals 39 hours after the CC14 treatment.
5. The duration of sleep in minutes after thiopental sodium in the rat treated with CC14 was significantly prolonged to compare with both group, the CC14 group and the CC14+Ryongdamsakan-Tang group.
