A Study on the Effect of Cervi Cornu in the Phenvlhvdrazine HCI Administered Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
The Cervi Cornu was applied the disease due to the deficiency of blood. Therefore the rats were administered the Cervi Cornu in order to see the influence on the blood composition and then induced the hemolysis by phenylhydrazin-HCL It was examined not only the effect of drug but also the difference of effect with the each
Cervi Cornu The trial rats giving Cervi Cornu were divided the four groups : elk, red deer, rein deer and formosa deer. The Cervi Cornu was shown to have the curative effect on anemia through the PCV, Hb and serum-Fe.
The result were as follows :
1. According to the measurement of PCV the trial groups get higher grade than the control group.
2. The influence of the Cervi Cornu to amounts of the hemoglobin was significant in red deer.
3. All of the trial groups had the sorpe variation as a result of the increase of serum Fe amounts induced the hemolysis. Elk among the trial groups was significant (P< 0.01) .
4. On this experiment, the effective differences of four Cervi Cornu was uncertain but elk group was more effective.
