Abstract
The results on treatmental activity of the Kyukhachua- Tang aqueous concensed solution (KTACS) against carbontetra-chloride (,CCI,) induced liver damage in the rat are described. The sample was found to display the high level or remedial activity producing significant lowering of serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (S -GOT) serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (S - CPT), lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) and total cholesterol (TCH) content levels at a daily dose of 250mg/l00g in dry extract 1. The S - GOT activity in CC14- poisoned rat was decreased after 39 hours by administration of the KTACS. It was observed significantly in the statical view point 2 . And in the CCI4 poisoned rat administered with the above same solutionS-GPT activity was found to be similar to that of S - GOT. 3 . In the case of S - LDH activity, a similar result was obtained in the poi- soned rat administered with the KTACS. It was observed highly significant value,
4. 39 hours after the poisoning, the pattern of changes in the Tch. content in the blood of the rat administered the above same sample was slightly lower than that of the control group. No significant statistical value was observed.
