Lee Dong-Hee
Abstract
In order to study the therapeutic effect of Cheong- Sim Tang, the serum total cholesterol, (3- lipoprotein and triglyceride were measured and obtained the results as follows. 1. The total content of cholesterol was gradually decreased from the 18th day after the administration Cheong- Sim Tang to the induced hypercholesteremic rabbit. 2. The content of serum 15- lipoprotein was gradually brought down from the 18th day after the administration Cheong- Sim Tang to the induced hypercholesteremic rabbit, but it only showed statistical values on the 18th and 26th day. 3. In the case of serum triglyceride, the total content was slightly decreased and it showed typically significant value on the 26th day after the administration of Che ong- Sim Tang.
