Abstract
In order to study the therapautic effect of gold needle, Male rats divided into 3 groups (Normal group, gold needles inserted Sin-Su (B23) group and gold needles inserted Hwan-Jo (G30) group) measured 17-ketosteroid (17-KS) level of each group, all the Rats were poisoned by 0.1% HgCl2 and prepared for 72hrs. After 3days the BUM and ceatinine were measured.
The Results were as follows:
1. 17-ketosteroid (17-KS) level after 24hrs and 72hrs did not reveal any significant values. 17-KS level after 5 days, 1 week, 2 weeks and 3 weeks showed significant values (P <0.05) at gold needles inserted Sin-Su (B23) group and gold needles inserted Hwan-Jo (G30) group were similar to normal group.
2. BUN. level of Sin-Su (B23) and Hwan-Jo (G30) groups revealed some what decreased but not any significant values.
3. Creatinine level of Sin-Su (G23) and Hwan-Jo (G30) groups did not reveal any significant values with some what increased rather than normal group.
