Study of the Effects of Ssangwha-tang on the Antifatigue Action and Blood by Repeated Administration in mice

Abstract

|
A study was planned to observe the effects of ssangwha-tang on the antifatigue action by swimming performance and the changes of number of RBC, hemoglobin by ZF method and hematocrit by microhematocrit method in mice.
The results are as follows:
1. In the effect of ssangwha-tang on the antifatige action, swimming time was
considerably prolonged in all the experimental groups than the normal group.
2. Number of RBC was increased in all the experimental groups than the normal
group and the significance was recognized from sample 5.
3. Number of hematocrit was increased in all the experimental groups than the normal group, but it did not show the significance.
4. Number of hemoglobin was increased in all the experimental groups than the normal group and sample 9. revealed significance statistically.
5. According to the above results, ssangwha-tang is assumed to have antifatigue and hematogenous effects.
