Abstract
The results on treatmental activity of the Kejibockryung-Hwan aqueous condensed solution (KHACS) against carbon tetrachloride (CC14) induced liver damage in the rat are described. The samples were found to display the high level of remedial activity producing significant lowering of serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGPT), serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT), alkaline phosphatase (ARP), serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT), alkaline phosphatase (ARP), lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) and leucineaminopeptidase (LAP) at a daily dose of 0.45m1/200g.
1. The SGPT activity in CC14-poisoned rat was decreased after 48 hours by adminis-tration of the KHACS. It was observed significantly in the statistical view point, and the statistical value showed highly in case of increase the daily dose.
2. All of the trial groups showed the tendency of a remarkable decrease than the control group and revealed a high significance in SGOT activity. 3. A similar result was obtained in the poisoned rat administered with the KHACS in case of SAQP activity. It was observed highly significant value. 4. In case of LDH activity of the experimental groups compared with the control group, showed the tendency of the considerable decrease and revealed statistical value. 5. LAP activity was found to similar to that of SAQP. It was observed highly significant value. 6. According to the above mentioned results, we consider that Kejibockryung-Hwan have the curative effects for the liver diseases.
