The Study of Wang Bing

Abstract
Wang Bing was a medical man of the China Dang era. His pen name was Kyee Hyeon Ja and his nick-name was Wang Tae Bok.
In both his teacher¢¥s pen name and his, there are Hyeon spell which has been used in the Toaism, so I guess that he was much influenced by the Toaism. And I judge that he devoted himself to the study of Nae Kyeong in his life, because his work is only the annotating of Nae Kyeong So Moon. Through his annofating of Nae. Kyeong So Moon. I found out as following.
1. First, the Wang Bings¢¥ annotating of Nae Kyeong So Moon is composed of interpretations of words, explanation of meanings of passages and the pronounciations of the annotated words. It¢¥s contents gives more detailed explanations than those of Yang Sang Sun in Su era, but it is more simple than those of Ma Hyun Dae of Myung era and of Jang Eun Am of Chung era.
He cited about forty kinds of books on medicine, Todaism, Confucianism for the annotating of Nae Kyeong So Moon.
As So Moon and Ryeong Choo occupy most parts of them, I find that he used mainly the sentences of classic to note them, and that he took a serious view to So Moon in light that So Moon was noted much more frequently than Ryeong Choo.
2. Second, we can see that the contents of Nae Kyeong was written to So Moon nine volumes, eight volumes in Yang kingdom by the seven brief books about art in post. Han kingdom, the books about art in post Han kingdom, the book about classics in Su kingdom.
In another case, in South North kingdom era it was composed of eight volumes and sixty-eight chapters by Jeon Won Ki, in Su era it was edited of Nae Kyeong Ryeong So Hap thirty volumes by Yang Sang Sun.
So we know that Wang Bing writes in the title and order of chapters, he edited
So Moon twenty four volumes and eighty one chapters with the book by Jeon Won Ki as materials.
What is better, he edited So Moon in the order of regimen physiology, diagnosis, pathology, and Woon Ki theory, and he differs largely from Mr. Jeon and Yang.
3. Third, the seven chapters of great theories which are known as having been written in by Wang Bing, are mainly about Woon-Gi. In the new corrected edition, Im Eok said that it had been extracted from the sentences of Eum Yang great theory.
As we can not research Eum Yang great theory, we can not know whether it is true or not.
But it is evident that Wang Bing write in it.
We can say that the contents of the seven chapters of great theory is related with that of the rest part of So Moon, given that the sentences among the former that is similar or same with Eum Yang Eung Sang great theory, the rest part of So Moon, is not little.
4. Fourth, Wang Bing, in the medical theory established four sorts of diagnosis and treaty theory by dealing to Woon Ki theory realistically and objectively, and he distinguished Hwa from In Hwa.
He greatly affected, Lee Dong Won and Joo Dan Kye in posterity by advocating that In Hwa should be treated by Han measure (general dropping down the temperature of human body) as substant heat, but Yoong Hwa should be treated by On Yang measure (nursing and invigorating).
5. Fifth, Through You Ha Kan M.D and others sharply criticized Wang Bing for revising the order and contents of So Moon, it is a great explicit that he disclosed the Nae Kyung from back room, and inherited it to posterity changing the order and chapters, and footnoting it. And we know that his faith to the value of Nae Kyung was so firm.
