Abstract

|
To observe the effect on the heart and the hypertensive effect in frogs and the diuretic effect in rats, Kamionryungtang was administered. The next is the investigated results of this experiments. 1. Motility of isolated frog-heart by the Engelmann method was more contracted in the sample group than the control group after 2 minutes. 2. In hypertensive effect, it was more reduced in the sample group than the control group as dropping (-15.5 1.0mmHg) after 4 hours. 3. In the diuretic effect by the urea method, the sample group revealed the diuretic effect more than the control group as increasing the urine volume (275 12.6mg) after 2 hours. 4. As the above mentioned results, it was presumed the Kamionryungtang may be applied to the cardiac disorder, blood pressure and the urination.
