A Study of the Analgesic, Anticonvulsive, and Antipyretic Effects of Sachung-Hwan used in the Feverish Disease of Pediatrics

Abstract
After administering sachung-hwan liquid extract used in the feverish disease of
pediatrics to the experimental animals, I measured the experiments for the analgesic,
anticonvulsive and antipyretic effects. So that, I obtained the results as follows.
1. In the analgesic effect by acetic acid method, all of the sample groups revealed a high significance than the control group as a result of t-test.
2. In the anticonvulsive effect by ECT unit, all of the sample groups were not different from the control group in statistical value and didn¢¥t have any significance.
3. In the antipyretic effect by yeast method, the control group was continuously feverish condition and the sample group fell much more than the normal rectal temperature. So that, the sample group showed high significant value.
4. According to the above experiments, sachung-hwan liquid extract was found to be effective against pain and fever and was not found to be effective against convulsion by temporary electric stimuli.
But judging from the excellent antipyretic effect, I considered that sachunghwan liquid extract would be effective against feverish convulsion.
