Effect of Gongyeandan on the Diuresis in Rabbits

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to study the effect of Gongyeandan on the diuresis, and its mechanism of urine, total amount and electrolytes, creatinine and reductive rate )f sodium in urine of rabbits were measured.
The following results were obtained.
1. The Gongyeandan Extract powder showed the diuretic action in rab its.
2. The diuretic action of Gongyeandan Extract powder was shown milder and more more consistent than that of forosemide
3. The diuretic action of Gongyeandan Extract power was appeared later than that of furosemide.
4. It was considered that Gongyeandan Extract powder made a result of the diuretic effect by increasing glumerulus filtration rate and partially restriction to sodium ion reabsorption in renal tubale.
