Studies on the effects of Chooseok, Jookryeok, & their compounds On the blood Pressure in Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to study the effectiveness of Chooseok, Jookryeok, and their compounds on the dropping of blood pressure in normotenisve rats and spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR), changes of their blood pressure were checked and following results have been obtained.
1. The blood pressures of normetensive rats were significantly dropped in contrast withe the control group. In the case od Chooseok, Jookryeok respectively, the effectiveness were recognized from half to one hours. after administration and in the case of their compounds, from half to two hours.
2. The blood pressures of SHR rats were remarkably dropped. Each of them showed effectiveness form half to two hours. Especially in the case of Chooseok alone, high effectiveness were recogniged.
3. According to the above experimental results, the applicability of Chooseok, Jookryeok, & their compounds were acknowledged in clinical treatment of hypertensive disease.
