A study of Effects of Baekgam-Tang on the Analgesia and TAA-Induced liver damage in rats

Abstract
Effects of Bakgam-Tang on analgesic action in mice by acetic acid method and thio-acetamide induced liver in rats were studied.
The results obtained as follows.
1. All cases of sample group (I, II, III) showed significance in the analgesic action. In these group, sample II group showed the highest significance.
2. All cases of sample group in S-GOT activity revealed the significant decrease rate in proporion to control group with the passage of time, especially sample III group showed the highest significance.
3. All cases of sample group on S-GPT activity revealed the significant decrease rate in proportion to control group with the passage of time, especially sample II group showed the highest significance.
4. In the alkaline phosphatase activity in the serum, all cases of sample group showed significant decrease rate in proportion to control group. Especially sample II group showed the highest significance.
5. According to the above findings, it was acknowledged that group of administration Chelidonium majus to Glycyrrhizae radix rate was 3:1 revealed the highest significance in the analgesic action and in effect to Thioacetamide induced liver.
