Dangkwi-Eum has been used as an anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic for the the exl ravastated blood of contuse wound in Oriental Medicine, the syndrome of whic i is fever, pain and edema.
The present report shows the anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effects of dried extracted powder and each dried extracted powder compound of Dangkwi-Eum and Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha.
The results are summarized as follows.
1. The dried extracted powder and the each dried extracted powder compound of Dangkwi-Eum and Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha were tested against the rat edema induced by a contuse wound; the effects of the each dried extracted powder compound of Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha, the dried extracted powder of Dangkwi-Eum the dried extracted power of Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha, and the each dried extracted powder compound of Dangkwi-Eum in this order were recognized against the rat edema induced by a contuse wound.
2. The dried extracted powder of Dangkwi-Eum, the dried extracted powder of Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha, the each dried extracted powder compound-of Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha, and the each dried extracted powder compound of Daungkwi-Eum showed the antipyretic effect by yeast method in that order.
3. The dried extracted powder of Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha, the dried extracted powder Dangkwi-Eum, the each dried extracted powder compound of Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha, and the each dried
extracted powder compound of Dangkwi-Eum had the analgesic function in that order.
4. According to the above results, the Dangkwi-Eum and Dangkwi-Eum added Olibanum and Myrrha were considered to be effective on the anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic for he extravastated blood of contuse wound in Oriental Medicine.
