The Effects of Changisan on Analgesia, Antiinflammation, Antipyretic action, Duration of Hypnosis and Lethality induced by Histamine

Abstract
|
|
|
Experimental studies were conducted to investigate for the effect of Changisan extract powder, which has been used for the treatment of `Bee-yeon, on the analgesia (by acetic acid method), antiinflammation (by carrageenin method), antipyretic action (by yeast pyretic method), duration of hypnosis (by thiopental sodium) and antihistamine action.
The following results were obtained;
1. Analgesic effect was obtained significantly.
2. Antiinflammatory effect was obtained significantly.
3. Antipyretic effect was obtained significantly.
4. Prolonged effect on the duration of hypnosis was obtained signifcantly.
5. Antihistamine effect was notable.
According to the above results, .Changisan is assumed to have a curative effect against Bee-yeon.
