A study of Effects of Haepyoyijintang on the Analgesia, Anticonvulsion, Antipyresis and O₃Poisoned Lung in rats and mice

Abstract
|
|
|
An Experimental study was done to research the clinical effects of Haepyoyijintang on the analgesia, anticonvulsion, antipyresis and lung damage in rats and mice. The results obtained as follows;
1. In comparison with control group, the extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang revealed high significance, but the mixture of each extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang revealed non significance on the analgesic effect by acetic acid.
2. In comparison with control group, the extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang and the mixture of each extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang revealed significant on the convulsive effect, especially the extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang showed with high significance.
3. The extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang has more continued the antipyretic effect compared with the mixture of each extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang.
4. The extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang revealed significant effect on rat lung TBA ´value, but the mixture of each extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang is not significant.
5. The extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang and the mixture of each extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang on K+ contents were not significant.
6. The extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang and the mixture of each extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang on Na+ contents were not significant.
According to the above finding, it is suggested that the extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang retains more effectiveness on the analgesic, the anticonvulsive actions, the antipyretic actions and 03 poisoned lung compared with the mixture of each extracted powder of Haepyoyijintang.
