A Study on the Effects of Joockrhyuk, Jockrhyuktang and Joockrhyuk-Kangjeup-Tang on Antiphretic in Pyrexic Rats

Abstract
|
|
|
To observe the antipyretic action in rats by Yeast method, main drug of Joockrhyuk-tang which is Joockrhyuk (Sample I group), Joockrhyuk-Tang (Sample II group), and Joockrhyuk-Kang Jeup-Tang (Sample III group) were administered separately.
The next is the investigated results of this experiment.
1. In antipyretic action by Yeast method, Sample I group revealed the effect as decreasing after 1 hour, but during 3-4 hours the effect did not reveal.
2. In antipyretic action by Yeast method, Sample II group revealed the effect as decreasing after 1 hour.
3. In antipyretic action by Yeast method, Sample III group revealed the effect as decreasing after 1 hour.
According to the above experimental results, Sample II group and Sample III group are more effective than Sample I group in antipyrete, and the applicability of Sample II and Sample III were acknowledged in clinical treatment of paralytic fever symptoms.
