Abstract

|
To make know the prevention of cold environmental stress of GirDamChung-ShimTang, the rats which were kept in 5C environment were experiminted by checking urine catecholamines and got the following results.
1. In the control group, the rat urine of 5 ml showed the content of epinephrine 25.98 ng, dopamine 221.25 ng.
2. In the experimental group, the rat urine which is received GirDamChungShim-Tang contained epinephrine 13.47 ng and dopamine 68.45 ng.
3. By comparing the experimented rat group with control, epirephrine excreted only 52% and dopamine excreted only 30.93% in the rat´s urine.
According to the above results, it can be concluded that GirDamChungShimTang takes effect on preventing of cold environmental stress.
