Abstract
|

|
In order to investigate experimentally the coinical effect of Soumin-Songhyangjouingkisan (小陰人 星香正氣散) that was prescribed to cure the sinsuyolpyoyolbyong (腎受熱表熱病) of soumin(小陰人) the author experimented various activities of mixed extract from Soumin-Songhyangjoungkisan by the methods prescribed in the experimental part.
The result obtained as follows
1. Inhibitory effects were noted on the convulsions induced by strychnine
2. In the acetic acid method experiment, analgestic effect was noted
3. In mice prolongation of the duration of hypnosis induced by thiopental-Na was noted
4. Sedative effects such as malfunction of the spoutaneous motor activity in the wheel cage method experiment were noted
5. The expansion of blood vessels by rdlaxation of smooth muscle was noted
According to the above results, effects based on oriental medical references approximate to the actual experimental results
