A histological evaluation on the effect of ferric sulfate to pulp tissue of permanent molars in dogs.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of ferric sulfate to pulp tissue of the permanent teeth in dogs.
Pulpal reaction to tested various medicaments during two time intervals ( 6 weeks, 8 weeks) were evaluated histologically under light microscope.
@ES The results can be summarized as follows :
@EN 1. The saline group showed generalized inflammatory cell infiltration and slightly residual pulp tissues in apical third.
2. The 2% glutaraldehyde showed slightly inflammatory cell in the coronal one-third.
3. The ferric sulfate group showed generalized inflammatory reaction and internal resorption.
