Effect of Cycloheximide on Cholinesterase of Mouse Plasma

Abstract
|
|
|
The effect of cycloheximide on the activity of cholinesterase were investigated in mouse plasma
Cycloheximide inhibited markedly the activity of cholinesterase in mouse plasma and its inhibition effect was 10% at 50pg/head(20g), 225% at 100pg/ head (20 g), 24% at 250 jig/ head (20g).
It is suggested from these results that the effect of cycloheximide on the cholinesterase activity is shown by the inhibition of the biosynthesis of this enzyme.
