A Clinical Study of Total Hip Prosthetic Replacement

Abstract

|
13 cases of total hip joint replacements were reviewed and evaluated.
They were done during the time of Feb. 1976 to Mar 1978.
Operations were performed by moqified Charnley method, by which the patients were placed laterally. By so doing one can more easily determine the proper laying of the prosthetic acetabulam Besides the wider exposure make the operative procedure more easy for surgeon himself as well as assistants. Results were uniformly good.
