Studies on Salmonella Isolated from Gwang ju River in Gwang ju(1982.11~1981.3)

Abstract
|

|
The authors attempted to detect the Salmonella groups from 8 collecting spots of Gwang-ju River in Gwang-ju during five months from Nov. 1980 to Mar. 1981. The results obtained were as follows:
1. The authors identified 1 strain of S. typhi, 3 strains of S. paratyphi A and 7 strains of Salmonella group from 160 Specimens.
2. The isolated 11 strains confirmed by Minitek-System. The confidence values of S. typhi and S. paratyphi 1,2,3 were over 95%, and the confidence values of Salmonella group (7 strains) were 40% to 75%.
3. Multi-resistant strains were distributed as follows. Five-multi-resistant strain : S. typhi Six-multi-resistant-strain. S. paratyphi 1 Seven-multi-resistant strains : S. paratyphi 2, S. paratyphi 3
