A Study on the Mental Health Status of Male and Female in Involutional Period

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was attempted to assess the mental health status between male and female in involutional period.
The purpose of this study was to determine factors influencing mental health status and to provide objective and scientific data with the health education, the treatment and the nursing care.
In involutional period, 88 members of males and 101 members of female who were between. 45 and 55 years old.
Data for this study was collected from March 15 to April 15, 1986. Analysis of data was done by using x², t-test.
The results are as follows:
A depression status to a group of males and somatization status to a group of females expressed the highest response.
